Ms. Kseniya

Owner/Director

I was born and raised in Kazakhstan a country that used to be  part of USSR. I moved to the United States with my family when I was 14 years old. One of my biggest challenges moving to the US was learning a new language. I wanted to become fluent in English, but also retain my first language (Russian) and the culture that goes with it. For a teenager it is never easy to start their life from scratch. However Washington became my home. I was able to learn the language, finish high school, open a home day care and continue with my journey in my new home. Since I moved to Washington state I have always been working with children and my 23 years experience working with children in different childcare settings is a big part of my life. Now that I am a mother myself I feel closer to all the children that we care for.

I owned a home daycare for over 10 years, but then I decided to go back to school and get my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology and Early Childhood Education State Wide Certificate so I can learn and grow in my field.  Now I am excited to start this new future in our new concept of Kids Foundation Academy, in Edmonds, WA

I love watching children grow, learn and develop in their own ways. I cannot wait to meet all our extended families and provide them with a great service.

In my free time I love spending time with my family and friends as well as exploring outdoors and travel the world.

Mr. Ryan

Preschool Teacher

I was born and raised in Washington State in and around the Seattle Area. I have been working in the childcare field for the last 8 years with the ages between 2.5 to 6th grade. I have my A.A from Seattle Central and also did some training as a EMT. Some of my favorite things to do with children is art and building projects.

One of my favorite hobbies I do when I have free time is different types of art from pencil drawings to pyrography. Seeing how children are able to build, create and solve challenges, helps me know where they are and what they are interested in. This allows the children to grow and learn while having fun which is one of the ways I like to teach and work.

Ms. Justine (J)

Preschool Teacher

I was born and raised in Washington State.

I recently decided to make a career change into childcare. I come from a very big family, volunteering with kids at a young age and watching kids grow into their own person. Helping children learn and be a part of that growth, always excites me. I’m excited to be a part of the KFA team and getting to know your children.

School Cook

I love cooking and learning what the children love. I bring my knowledge of food to your child's plate. I have worked in the food industry for about  3 years and has picked up a fair share of tasty but healthy meals and snacks. I am very excited to share all these ideas with the children of KFA in hopes of expanding their horizon with foods they may not try at home! I am happy to provide a delightful yet well balanced meals for children every day.
