Older Toddlers (Branches Classroom)

Ages 2 to 3 years old

Our Young Preschool Older Toddler Program is designed for children ages 2 to 3 years old, a dynamic stage where curiosity, independence, and energy are rapidly growing. At this age, children are naturally driven to explore, move, and discover the world around them. We provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where toddlers can learn through hands-on experiences and guided exploration. As a dual-language program, our school incorporates both English and Spanish throughout the day, creating a rich and immersive learning environment that supports early language development. Children are naturally introduced to both languages through everyday interactions, helping them build confidence and familiarity in a meaningful way. To ensure each child receives individualized attention and support, we maintain a low teacher-to-student ratio, with three teachers caring for a group of 14 children. Each day is carefully structured with a balance of play-based learning and teacher-guided activities, incorporating elements of a STEAM-based curriculum alongside core developmental areas. In addition to ongoing bilingual exposure, children participate in daily Spanish lessons designed to build vocabulary, comprehension, and listening skills in a fun and engaging way. Through experiences in science, technology, engineering, art, and math, children begin to develop early problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Daily activities include opportunities for counting, early writing exploration, art, dance, music, and story time, along with hands-on exploration of textures, colors, and sensory materials. Through interactive play with peers, children expand their vocabulary in both English and Spanish, learn new sounds and words, and practice important social skills such as sharing, cooperation, and communication. As part of their growth, they are gently guided in following simple instructions and daily routines, helping to build independence and confidence. We also support families during the potty training process, offering consistency, encouragement, and a positive approach. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded, enriching environment that nurtures each child’s development while fostering a lifelong love of learning in both languages.

Preschool (Leaves Classroom)

Ages 3 to 5 years old

Our Preschool Program, serving children ages 3 to 5 years old, is designed to provide a comprehensive and enriching early learning experience during a critical stage of development. While the environment remains playful and engaging, every activity is intentionally planned to support school readiness and build a strong academic foundation. As a dual-language program, our school integrates both English and Spanish throughout the day, with dedicated daily Spanish instruction that helps children develop bilingual communication skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in a second language. To ensure a high level of individualized attention and support, we maintain a low teacher-to-student ratio, with five teachers guiding a group of 23 children. A central focus of our program is kindergarten readiness. We intentionally design our curriculum to help children develop the academic, social, and emotional skills needed for a successful transition into kindergarten. This includes building independence, strengthening attention and listening skills, and encouraging confidence in group settings, all while fostering a love for learning. Our curriculum combines a strong academic framework with a hands-on STEAM approach, encouraging children to explore concepts in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics in meaningful and engaging ways. Through structured group activities and guided play, children develop essential pre-reading skills such as phonemic awareness, letter recognition, and sound identification. Early math concepts, including counting, patterning, and number recognition, are introduced through interactive experiences that incorporate movement, music, and collaboration. Activities often include clapping, rhythm, and physical movement, helping children learn while staying actively engaged. Students also explore colors, shapes, body awareness, and spatial concepts, while participating in hands-on science activities that spark curiosity and critical thinking. For children ages 3.5 to 5, learning becomes more focused on preparing for kindergarten through the development of early reading, writing, and math skills. Our program also includes a well-rounded curriculum featuring Spanish language development, science, social studies, art, music, and physical education. Children are encouraged to express creativity, build problem-solving skills, and develop independence in a supportive and structured environment. To further enrich the learning experience, we incorporate field trips as weather and conditions allow, giving children opportunities to explore the world beyond the classroom and connect their learning to real-life experiences. Our goal is to provide a balanced, engaging, and academically rich environment that fosters confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning in both English and Spanish.
