At Kids Foundation Academy, we believe childhood is a time of wonder, curiosity, and discovery. Serving children from 12 months to 5 years old, our academy provides a nurturing environment where every child is seen as unique, celebrated for their personality, talents, and learning style.
Our mission is to build strong emotional, social, and educational foundations, helping children grow into confident, curious, and well-rounded individuals who are ready to explore the world around them.
Our story is deeply rooted in our heritage. Coming from Greece and Kazakhstan, we grew up in cultures where being a child meant exploring outdoors, connecting with nature, and learning through experience. Those formative experiences shaped our philosophy.

We have 2 kiddos going to Kids Foundation Academy. Before moving to Washington, our oldest (now 4) dreaded daycare every morning. Drop-offs used to be a struggle that resulted in a meltdown at daycare as we walked away. Every morning when asked if she HAS to go to daycare, she would cry when we said yes. This hasn't happened a single time at KFA. Actually it's the opposite now, where on Saturday morning she asks if she GETS to go to daycare and moans when we say no. The teachers go above and beyond, even doing our daughters' hair most days, which makes her SO happy. The app is useful, and we love getting photo and video updates throughout the day. Communication is amazing, and the owners worked with us when we had a 1 year old that loved biting. I'd recommend KFA to any family in the area!

Our child absolutely loves KFA! The staff is incredibly warm and nurturing, and we can tell they genuinely care about the children. The daycare is always clean and inviting, with a variety of age-appropriate toys and activities. Thanks to the daycare's bilingual program, our child has made impressive progress in speaking both Spanish and English since starting here. We highly recommend KFA to any parent looking for a loving and supportive environment for their child!

We spent a lot of time looking for the right place to send our child, and I could not be more pleased with KFA. Our daughter LOVES KFA, and we're so glad we are part of the KFA community. The owners, Kseniya and Kosta, are incredibly dedicated, giving the kids a warm and loving environment to thrive in. They have taken extra time and care helping address my daughter's specific needs and consistently follow up and talk with us about how she is doing. They are kind and patient, and have put their heart and soul into their business to ensure each child has a safe, clean, healthy and happy environment to thrive in. They care about each and every one of the children there genuinely, and it shows. The teachers are wonderful, and have been so supportive and communicative as my daughter has grown up, ensuring consistency throughout her care process at home and school.

Best childcare ever!! My son loves to go there. He litlerally run when we arrive because he doesn't want go home. They cook their own food in a super clean kitchen. The center is beautiful with plenty of learning toys for the kids. The teachers are nice and lovely. The owners really care about the kids. I am really happy for finding them to take care of my child.

We love watching him grow and learn from the very thoughtful curriculum and hands on leadership staff. Wow, what a great experience. The staff at Kids Foundation Academy is absolutely wonderful and have made our preschooler feel so welcome and special. The facility is brand new and sparkling clean. The food is nutritious and freshly prepared. Most importantly, our son absolutely loves it here and learns so much every single day. He is a shy kid who usually wants to be at home with me, but now he can’t wait to go see his teacher Miss Jackie each day and never wants to leave! I could go on and on about how grateful we are to have found this place. I could not recommend it any more highly.

10/10 would recommend. It was nerve wracking looking at starting my toddler in daycare but we got to the point where that was the only option. I looked at a few different places online and KFA was the first to respond to my inquiry (very shortly after I sent an email) and they went out of their way to meet me on the weekend so that I could take a tour: I didn’t feel the need to look anywhere else after that. The layout of this daycare makes it feel like a home: it’s such a comfortable setting and has a great layout. The teachers are all very friendly and great with the kiddos, and the owners work with you and are always great. My daughter loves coming here now and is always excited to see her friends. Another HUGE plus is that you have the ability to see what they’re doing throughout the day with their app: you’re told when they eat/what they eat, nap time, what activities they’re working on and what they’re learning that day, etc. It’s awesome.

Our son Wyatt has been at KFA for a year and a half now and we couldn’t be happier. The owners, Kseniya and Kosta, put their heart and soul into making a safe, fun, educational, and loving school environment for both the kids and parents. Wyatt started in the Roots classroom at just under 1 year old and it was such a great experience for us as nervous first-time parents. His teachers encouraged him as he learned to walk, guided him through new (healthy and home-cooked!) foods, and introduced him to so many fun art projects. When Wyatt turned 2 and moved up to the older classroom, the staff made sure the transition was a positive one for all of us. We receive pics and updates via the Brightwheel app all day long, so we are constantly in the know on what he’s eating, when he’s sleeping, diaper changes, and who he’s playing with. I’m constantly amazed by the labor of love that must go into planning the curriculum and all the creative activities they have planned for the kids — it’s something new every day. On top of all that, KFA staff has truly become like family to us. We feel so lucky to be embraced by the KFA community and couldn’t speak highly enough of the whole team. We have another little girl on the way and have no doubt she’ll be joining her brother at KFA!
